MLC's housing concerns reach Tynwald floor

An MLC is taking his concerns about social housing in Douglas to the floor of Tynwald.

David Cretney will quiz the Infrastructure Minister about the number of vacant properties in the capital.

It's after Douglas Council refused to answer his questions on the subject - he'd also wanted to know how long they'd been vacant for.

Mr Cretney branded the council's response 'disappointing' and said he believes people should know whether the turnover rate of the properties is on target:
